APAC Customer Services announced that its shareholders approved the proposal to adopt the previously announced merger agreement among APAC and affiliates of One Equity Partners providing for the acquisition of APAC by an affiliate of OEP. The proposal to adopt the merger agreement was approved by approximately 81% of the total number of shares outstanding and by more than 99% of the shares voted. In addition, the non-binding proposal regarding certain merger-related executive compensation arrangements was approved by more than a majority of the shares voted. As provided by the terms of the merger agreement, subject to the satisfaction of final customary closing conditions, it is expected that the merger will close on October 14. | |
